About Us

Malcolm served his articles with Coopers and Lybrand and obtained his C.T.A. from the University of Cape Town. On completion of his articles, he spent most of his professional life in commerce, working for large manufacturing and retail companies as a financial manager in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

During his tenure as financial manager he was exposed to major companies, financial and business affairs. It was during this phase of his life that he acquired major management accounting skills, which stands him in goodstead in the management and application of his practise and to the benefit of his clients.

Prior to starting Alma Casa, Malcolm spent a further three years working for a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants based in Tokai, Cape Town in the capacity of accounting manager. Thereby gaining invaluable accounting practice management exposure and skills.

Malcolm keeps abreast of industry developments and spends considerable time keeping up to date with his continued professional development.

In closing his vast practical exposure includes performing foreign accounting assignments and his experience acquired over the years is very successfully applied to his clients’ advantage.

Claudine was admitted as a member of SAIPA as a Professional Accountant (SA) as of December 2018 and is a partner in the practice. She runs the practice with specific responsibility ensuring that the client’s monthly accounting needs and administration requirements are met and manages the team on a daily basis.

Her methodical and timeous approach to her assignments is much appreciated by our clients.
